The triple-layer copper-plated aluminium chassis weighs in at 33.7 kilograms. Heavy copper-plated panels coupled together without visible fasteners. Even the cone-like footers are copper-plated. The bottom panel sits on a hefty triple-layered copper-plated slab that virtually eliminates unwanted resonances.

The top panel features a metal grille window providing a view into the immaculately laid out circuitry. An interior LED lighting system (dimmable) illuminates the 'Marantz' logo atop the large toroidal transformer's housing. The Porthole Returns

The centrally-positioned circular 'porthole' window houses a high-definition TFT colour display that animates as the amplifier powers up.
